Microvision now offers a 1024 x 1024 element 12 bit resolution CCD camera. The camera is implemented in the new SS410-XE Display Measurement System and the SS440 Large Screen Display Measurement System. The SS410 expands and improves Microvision's testing capabilities. The SS410-XE camera will be packaged similarly to the
existing SS310 thus retaining the integrated CCD/Spectrometer package for
maximum flexibility. The new camera will greatly increase the range of tests
available to the user but will also retain and improve upon all the current SS310 capabilities.

Microvision has incorporated into the SS400 series of display test systems, a number of test routines which automatically initiate a variety of test specifications. The following test routines are currently available, with others still in development.
Microvision announces the introduction of Reflectance Measurements to its line of display measurement systems. This package, a software and hardware option to the SS430 system, permits the complete measurement of reflectance on displays. Measurements are calibrated using diffuse and Specular reflection standards which are included with the system, providing a total measurement capability. Reflection specifications such as the ISO 13406-2 are readily verified using this package (ISO-2 option) and the SS430 system. The system may be used for other reflection measurements in and around the display industry. |
