SS440 Display Measurement System

With Spectrometer Option

MICROVISION announces their latest introduction to the display industry.

In this era of ever larger displays, MICROVISION is ready with the
SS440 Large Screen Display Measurement System.
This system provides the ability to make the generally required measurements of large screens up to theatre size.

Applications:

The applications include DLP, LCD, LCOS, Cinema, and Rear Screen projectors, simulators, etc.
The SS440 includes the latest 1024 x 1024 element, 12-bit resolution CCD camera integrated into a Theodolite, with the imagery input to the standard MICROVISION computing system. The system is also offered with a Spectrometer option for color and luminance measurements. The spectrometer is adjusted so that both the spatial measurements of the CCD camera and the spectral information collected from the spectrometer are of the same location. 

With a 20 seconds of arc positioning resolution, this digital unit can be accurately positioned (pointed) at the normal viewing distance for the display, through ± 40º in X and Y, at predetermined locations.

Measurements of the Geometry, Line Width, MTF, Brightness Uniformity, etc. can be conveniently made with the data recorded in a spreadsheet format.
